lta Museum is located in Alta Municipality, Finnmark. The museum is situated in Hjemmeluft, approximately 5 km west of Alta town center. Nearby, you will find one of the five rock art sites in Alta, which was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1985.
