Here are our top tips for a good trade fair stand:

1. Build in height
Use as high a display as possible. By taking advantage of the height under the roof when building the booth you will be visible above the crowd. Using ceiling hung banners wherever possible will make your stand visible from a long distance!
It is important to inquire about height restrictions in the area and whether it is possible to hang banners from the ceiling. Compass Fairs delivers both ceiling-mounted banners and tall trade show walls!
2. Good lighting is important
By being strategic in the lighting of your booth you will be able to command the attention of the audience. Guide customers to the key points you want to showcase at the stand by lighting them up with your own lamps. You can also get hold of banners and other trade show equipment with built-in lighting.
3. Visibility at a distance
Be clear in the communication of their brand! It is important to have a clear brand and a unified message that you front big and clear on the stand. In addition, make sure that the brand is so clearly visible that the stand is visible (and most preferably recognizable) from a distance. This builds on the first tip of the article. All in all, the aim is for the booth to be easy to notice!

4th. Profiling and design selection
Choosing the right design and design of good profiling material is an important part of being remembered at the trade fair. If you present your brand in an effective way, it will be easier for potential customers to recognize your company. An exciting design and clear branding also make you stand out in the crowd.

5. Have a user-friendly and inviting layout
Spend plenty of time planning how the stand should be designed. Think about the activities and things you would like to have, and decide how the layout of the booth can add up to a good flow. Perhaps an area for activity and an area for information be separated by a wall. Or is it best suited with an open stand that invites to mingling be more beneficial. The fact that the booth is adapted for the activities you plan to undertake can have a lot to say in how high the engagement will be.

6. Serving food and drinks
A cup of coffee and some simple snacks are always a sure winner at fairs and events. Having something good to offer will often act as a stopping effect in itself in a busy trade show hall. By having a station and perhaps some standing tables to enjoy food and drinks you will create a pleasant atmosphere at the stand. Of course, remember to decorate the products with their logo and colors, so that they serve as part of the profiling as well.
7. Activities at the stand
To build on the previous tip, what happens on the stand is important! Therefore, it is advisable to have a clear plan for what you want to happen at your stand. Fun activities will both attract curious visitors and create increased engagement at the stand.
It is popular to have various contests (e.g. “Guess how many balls are in the glass” or wheel of fortune) to engage visitors. The prizes of such competitions should, of course, be something that is relevant to your company. Things like photobooth, VR glasses or demonstrations of their products can also be fun for the audience. However, remember to have methods to collect contact information for those who engage at the booth so that you can follow potential leads.
8. Motivated and engaged staff
The importance of talking to staff with an outgoing and welcoming personality cannot be stressed enough. When you're going to stand, be enthusiastic and people-seeking (without being too on-going naturally). It is also important to be professional and have a good knowledge of what you are selling.
